wow! this wedding was such a joy and pleasure for me. two wonderful families united through the marriage of a very sweet couple. despite the snow and cold temps (thank you all for being such sports!!), i think we managed to create some wonderful memories on film, or cf cards rather! enjoy...

this wedding is finally here! i have been so excited for this, but i bet i know two people, plus all their loved ones, who are probably more excited. this couple is so sweet, such a lovely groom and bride. i know i am going to have fun and get great photos of their wedding. they were up for anything! here are some photos of their rehearsal dinner at barrister winery. i look forward to night 2 and 3....we are just getting started!

cool chairs, cooler kid

the chairs in the background are very cool, however ,this kid takes the prize! mom wanted photos of her boys with the chairs. i love it when clients have ideas to work with. look at those luscious kissers! this little boy is growing up so fast, if he looks familiar, he is the one who opens up my website.

blog hiatus

its been awhile to say the least. i stepped away for a bit to catch my breath and now am feeling like i need to get back into it. all in due time, right? this little guy is not only cute but had the personality to match, what a charmer. i could have followed him around the whole day! it was a fun shoot, great house, great people, great family.

my snow bunnies

we packed the car last weekend and headed out to find our christmas tree in cle elum. when we arrived at our destination it was like we were in our very own snow globe. we met up with some great friends and had a ball...a snowball! it snowed and snowed and snowed!! our outing was a success, we brought home our very own "charlie brown christmas tree" ! we love our tree with all its imperfections and funny little skinny limbs. perfect!

collaboration or else

my husband kinda sorta put me in a corner.....but it was all for love. he owns his own design firm in spokane, nystrom, olson, collins, and asked me to photograph his first residential project. which by the way is amazing. so proud.....anyway, i thought it was too much too soon for me. when it came down to crunch time, even though i clearly said "i'm not your gal" he had me shoot the property. all is well and in the end it was a privilege to photograph his work. its always good to reach out of your comfort zone.....right?!? check it out, don't you want to live there?

catching up

times are busy, i know everyone is feeling it. i have been having a great season of meeting new clients and getting to see how much the ones from the past have grown. i love that part of my job! thanks to all.....
